In practice, veneer is a flexible wallpaper made from natural stone, primarily produced in India. The stone for this product is obtained from quarries in the form of large rock blocks. These blocks are divided into smaller pieces, from which the stone wallpaper is made. Stone wallpapers are created in specially prepared halls. The rock block is properly sanded on one side to obtain a smooth surface. Resin, a fiberglass layer, and a primer are then applied, which guarantee the veneer’s flexibility and durability.

Stone veneer offers countless advantages. This product is moisture-resistant, allowing its use in bathrooms or kitchens near kitchen hoods. The stone cladding is covered with resin on the underside, making it very well adapted to cover all types of substrates. After being heated to the appropriate temperature, the stone cladding can be rolled into a convenient roll, which can be transported over any distance.
